Hey there, as you’ve probably already noticed, I’m Jan “Yon” Siemaszko. With a background in Computer Science, History of Science and the Arts, I am able to leverage multiple disciplines when finding solutions to wicked problems. By using the right tool for the job, I've mastered one or more of them at every stage of the product design process.
Having grown up in a foreign country, I’ve been exposed to a wide range of cultures, languages, and personalities. Empathy comes naturally to me, which leads to a deeper understanding of how people think and allows me to thrive with cross-functional teams.
Currently residing in Madison, WI, a passionate artist in my spare time. White charcoal on black paper is my medium of choice. Known to mumble under my breath when confronted with UX problems in the wild…I’m currently available for freelance projects.
